As we close out the year 2024, on behalf of the Haitian community, we want to express our deepest gratitude and recognition to International Institute of New England (IINE) for its invaluable support and unwavering commitment to refugees and immigrants, particularly members of the Haitian community. Your tremendous work, your acts of solidarity, and your support in the resettlement of many Haitian families are essential to our well-being, integration, and future.
 
Unprecedented Support in Critical Moments
Every year, thousands of our Haitian brothers and sisters endure the hardships of immigration, many arriving with dreams of a better life but also facing immense challenges. IINE has been a sanctuary during these difficult times. Thanks to IINE, many Haitian families have found a solid anchor where they can rebuild their lives. From resettlement programs to access to social services, from learning English to finding employment, IINE has been a lifeline—a precious resource that has allowed many to find hope and stability in an otherwise uncertain journey. In a climate where immigrant rights are often under threat, IINE has consistently proven to be an indispensable ally.
 
Our Shared Fight for a Better Future
In the darkest moments, when uncertainty loomed, the IINE has remained steadfast in offering practical solutions and human support. You have been loyal allies in our pursuit of a better future, not only helping individuals integrate into a new society but also providing opportunities for personal growth and independence. You have equipped many with the tools to face challenges while giving them the resources to thrive in a country where their future seemed uncertain.
Members of IINE—whether they are social workers, trainers, volunteers, or lawyers—have consistently shown infinite patience, unwavering dedication, and sincere compassion. You have taken to heart the mission of helping each immigrant or refugee feel at home in this country, valuing their culture, respecting their history, and helping them adapt without ever losing their identity. In an environment where immigrant policies can be challenging, you have acted as bridge-builders, allowing us to navigate through difficult times.
 
A Wish for the New Year and Continued Struggle
As we enter the new year, we would like to extend our most sincere wishes for health, prosperity, and success to the entire IINE staff. We know that your work is difficult, demanding energy, empathy, and relentless determination.
